This course is the second part of the algebraic based general physics sequence offered to non-physics major’s students at Baker University. It covers topics in electricity, magnetism, electric circuits, ac-induction, geometrical optics, physical optics, atomic and nuclear structure, modern physics, and relativity. Many of the basic concepts in these topics are further explored in laboratory sessions. The course consists of three lectures and one laboratory session per week. Prerequisite: MA 145 or MA 221 and PC 125A or equivalent.
