Educational Programs and Curriculum Committee (EPC)
The EPC shall make decisions and recommend policy regarding development and implementation of programs and curricula; create, review, and maintain academic standards, admissions criteria, graduation requirements, and enrollment management policies.
The responsibilities of the EPC are:
- to review educational programs and curriculum as they relate to the university mission and the educational goals of SPGS
- to consider changes regarding sequencing, length, and content of courses within SPGS programs
- to consider addition or deletion of courses within programs
- to review and recommend proposed educational programs
- to create, review, and make recommendations for revision of existing standards and policies regarding admission, academic progression, and graduation requirements
- to propose and review regulations regarding SPGS academic conduct and educational standards
- to address SPGS student enrollment management issues including recruitment, admission criteria, advising, and retention
- to review SPGS academic calendars ix. to forward recommendations to the SPGS faculty senate
EPC meets once per month, on the last Tuesday of the month (excluding holidays/scheduled breaks) from 4:00 - 5:00 pm.
We meet in room 107 (1st floor) at the 7301 College Blvd. building or via Zoom.
